PAT Testing
All businesses must carry out Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) to ensure that they meet the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work act and Electricity at Work regulations.
It is an employer's responsibility to provide a safe working environment and PAT testing should be carried out regularly to ensure that all electrical equipment is safe to use.
PAT testing involves testing all appliances that have plugs. Our engineers thoroughly check these appliances by conducting formal visual inspections and series of electrical tests. As we must unplug these appliances for testing, we offer out of hours testing if required to minimise disruption to your business.
If an appliance fails the PAT test and the failure is caused by a faulty fuse or a broken plug, these will be replaced or repaired for free.
On completion of the PAT Testing, you will receive a full report for your records.
